BAFE

BAFE is the independent third party registration body for the fire protection industry, developing schemes for UKAS accredited certification bodies to assess and approve companies to recognised standards. BAFE also provides independent examination services to leading training organisations for the portable extinguisher initial training requirements of BS5306-3.

Companies who meet these standards can then display the prestigious BAFE logo as a registered company - a marque of approval that tells you that they are competent and regularly assessed.

BSI

BSI is the National Standards Body of the UK, with a globally recognised reputation for independence, integrity and innovation in the production of standards that promote best practice. Companies with BSI accreditation have consistently demonstrated best practice within their industry and as such are a trusted and competent business.

FIA

The Fire Industry Association is a not-for-profit trade association with the aim of promoting the professional status of the UK fire safety industry. All our members are bound by the FIA Leadership Statement, which stipulates the parameters under which they must operate.

CHAS

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.

Our members demonstrate compliance with important parts of health and safety law and deliver a competent service that has been assessed and approved in terms of their Health and safety policy statement; their organisation for health and safety and their specific health and safety arrangements.

FSA

With more than 300 members across the United Kingdom, the Fire and Security Association (FSA), is the fastest growing representative body for companies that design, install, commission, maintain and monitor electronic fire and security systems. As a specialist division of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA), the FSA is uniquely positioned to improve industry standards and develop its members' businesses.

FSA members represent all sizes of professional companies, all working to exacting British and European technical standards and are independently assessed and third party certificated.
