FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING Fire alarm installation:

Whether we are installing a new fire alarm system or modifying and improving the existing one the same standards will be applied to our work.

Once the system design and specification has been agreed with our designers and an order placed our installation department will complete the work required with the minimum possible disruption to your building and your business.

Our installation engineers and managers are trained to industry and national standards and all work is certificated to the BAFE SP203 scheme for new installations and BS5839 for system modifications.

Where wired systems are installed all new cable installation is completed in accordance with the current IEE wiring regulations and electrical installation records are provided as part of our certification process.

Pyrotec System installation includes:
• Qualified installers and managers who are regularly assessed
• Installation certificated to BAFE SP203, BS5839 and IEE Regs
• Approved and monitored system components
• Consideration to building use and client requirements throughout the work
• Minimisation of unwanted alarms through good installation practice

Fire alarm commissioning and handover:

After the installation work is complete a full system commissioning will be carried out to test every component of the system before we hand over to you. Our trained engineers will complete all tests required and check the completed installation against the original design and any agreed changes.

On completion of this process a handover pack will be compiled including all required certification, design and installation details, user manuals, commissioning test sheets and a fire log book for future records.

A handover meeting will be arranged and a full demonstration of the system given prior to the handover paperwork being provided. An explanation of routine testing and inspection will also be given to the responsible person so that they can make suitable arrangements for ongoing maintenance of the new system.
