Wet and Dry Riser Installation
In order to transport water efficiently around tall or large buildings, wet and dry riser installation is essential, allowing emergency services to easily connect to it when required. Pyrotec are even able to offer a wide range of dry riser and wet riser services to keep your wet risers and dry risers in top condition, including:
- Repairs
- Maintenance
- Testing
We will ensure that your dry and wet risers are fit for use whenever you may need them, keeping your building and employees safe and protected should a fire break out. Depending on the size of your building, you may need to install either a wet riser or a dry riser:
Wet risers – buildings which stand at 50m+ will require a wet riser as opposed to a dry riser. As the name would suggest, it contains water, ensuring even the top levels of a building will benefit from a wet riser should a fire breakout. This means that taller buildings won’t have to wait for water to be pumped up to higher floors – a crucial element in the event of a fire when time is of the essence.
Dry risers – should a building stand at 18m+, the installation of a dry riser would be more suitable. A dry pipe network is utilised which emergency services can easily connect to, pumping water around the pipes to provide protection.
Our team of experts will be able to install dry and wet risers throughout your building for your added peace of mind. Whether you operate throughout Brighton, Eastbourne, Crawley or the surrounding areas, the engineers here at Pyrotec will be able to help.
