Fire stopping products
Passive fire protection, the process of containing the spread of a fire using fire-resistant walls and doors, is an absolutely essential part of any fire protection strategy. However, unless the walls, doors and other structural elements of the building in question are treated properly, then this passive fire protection strategy will fail.
That’s why the team here at Pyrotec offer a fire stopping service throughout Brighton, Eastbourne and Crawley. This service involves ensuring sealing any gaps or openings through which a fire could spread are properly sealed using high-quality, fire-resistant materials. To ensure the best job possible is carried out, Pyrotec uses third-party IFC-accredited operatives.
The third-party professionals we use are registered by an independent IFC inspector and are fully trained to NVQ Level 2. They use equipment in line with BS 476-20 and -22 so you can be secure in the knowledge you’re in safe hands.
